Electronic Medical Records The electronic medial records we use in our office improve our efficiency and accuracy in record keeping. Additionally they increase our ability to communicate with other health professionals as we care of our patients.
Digital Retinal Photography
Digital photography has improved our ability to document and monitor ocular abnormalities and is integrated with our electronic medical records. This image shows a healthy retina with normal blood vessels and optic nerve.
Optical Coherence Tomographer
The Optical Coherence Tomographer (OCT) is a non-invasive instrument which produces a cross-sectional analysis of the retina and optic nerve head. This technology is utilized in the diagnosis and management of many conditions including glaucoma.
Topography is a way to evaluate the surface of an object. Corneal topography allows our doctors to evaluate the curvature of the front surface of the eye. This information can then be used to design specialty contact lenses.
